Huanchaco
It is a historic Peruvian city and beach resort, the capital of the homonymous district located in the province of Trujillo in the La Libertad department. It has a population of 87,192 inhabitants. It is conurbated with the city of Trujillo, forming part of Metropolitan Trujillo. It is world-famous for the totora reed boats used for navigation and fishing since the time of the Moche and Chimu cultures.

Huacas of the Sun and the Moon
It is an archaeological complex located on the northern coast of Peru, regarded as a Moche sanctuary. It consists of a group of monuments situated about five kilometers south of the city of Trujillo, in the district of Moche. This archaeological site physically represented the capital of the Moche culture from the 1st century BC to the 9th century AD

Chan Chan
It is a pre-Columbian adobe city built on the northern coast of Peru by the Chimu culture. It is the largest adobe city in America and the world. It is located northwest of the metropolitan area of Trujillo, between the districts of Trujillo and Huanchaco. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and included in the List of World Heritage in Danger in the same year.
